Nike Merchandising Building
Design of temporary conditions such as reshoring, shoring over ring road, crane and equipment loading analysis, suspended corner analysis, along with permanent design structural components of the project.
Canvas at the Press Blocks
Construction engineering work included reshoring, design of sleepers and mudsills, platforms, pump boom supports and other miscellaneous engineering items.
SAIF Addition
Coordination with LCL on reshoring, equipment loading, sequencing of compound loading issues and other construction analysis.
Grant High School
Structural analysis and design for a multitude of temporary conditions during the demo/reconstruction of the existing high school. Work lasted 3 years and included temporary bracing designs, shoring designs, basement stability and permanent design for various components.
Sullivan’s Gulch Apartments
Analysis and design of site excavation stability bracing, reshoring, platform analysis, phasing of temporary loading and other structural analysis during the course of the project.
UW West Village Garage
Construction engineering work included coordination with Hoffman Construction on the design of a cost-effective reshoring system.
140 Columbia Street
Construction engineering work included reshoring, analysis of existing bunker garage structure, design of sleepers and mudsills, platforms, pump boom supports and other miscellaneous engineering items.
4th and Montgomery Building
Construction engineering work included reshoring, analysis of shoring solutions at tall lift, design of sleepers and mudsills, platforms, pump boom supports and other miscellaneous engineering items.

ANALYSIS & DESIGN
RoC Korean Fellowship Church
Structural Design of a renovation/addition to a wood-framed community church. Work included a porte-cochere, seismic design for an assembly structure and modifications to the original building structure.
Metro Expo
Structural design of a renovation to the main entry area of a portion of the Expo Building. Work included coordination with the design team and contractor.
Wirick Earth House
Structural design of a partially-subterranean concrete residential structure. Structure is designed to be backfilled over the top in order to nestle into the existing grade.
Henry Building
Structural design that included review of loading on floors and roof, design of stair and guardrails, sidewalk access door and grease interceptor frame.
NCRD in Nehalem
Gravity and lateral analysis of historical AE Doyle building in Nehalem, Oregon. Work included voluntary seismic upgrade to the (2) original phases of the construction.

Research, structural analysis and forensic analysis of a floating structure that partially sunk during launching. Work included buoyancy calculations, stability analysis and risk exposure estimates.
De Garde Brewing
A due-diligence structural analysis of an old warehouse building in order to support a new brewery facility.
Cannon Beach Elementary School Gymnasium
A due-diligence structural analysis and report of the building for gravity loads, wind, seismic and tsunami forces
Hyatt Centric
Coordination with Mortenson Construction and completion of a peer review of the shoring and reshoring design for this 16-story concrete building structure.

MERCY CORPS VOLUNTEER WORK
Mercy Corps Afghanistan
Completed a 3-week humanitarian trip to Afghanistan with Mercy Corps in the summer of 2018 to Kabul and Fayzabad in the northeast. Inspected, reviewed and discussed design of community centers, medical clinics, schools and water canals.
Mercy Corps Democratic Republic of the Congo
Completed (2) 2-week humanitarian trips with Mercy Corps in the spring and summer of 2019 to Goma and Bakavu in the Kivu province of eastern DR Congo. Inspected, reviewed and discussed design of tap stands, concrete reservoirs and a water treatment plant.
Mercy Corps Elementary Schools
Development of a Property Conditions Assessment guidebook for assessing the condition of the existing buildings at various school sites.
